Example Workshop - Boat on a Shingle Beach

Paper - Arches 140lb not, (cold pressed). Maximum paper size approximately 15” x 12” Image size is smaller than that - approximately 12” x 8”
You will need spare watercolour paper and drawing paper for trying out colours and line work.

Cadmium Lemon
Paynes Grey
Cobalt Blue
Raw Sienna or Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red

Masking Fluid - Winsor & Newton

Tooth Brush - Medium Bristle

Colour Shaper

Other colours can be helpful but are not vital - Naples Yellow, Cobalt Violet, Ultramarine Violet.  Good value from Lawrence of Hove, but there is a delivery charge. 

Brushes Sable pointed round - 12, 8, 6, 3, Rosemary & Co brushes series 33.

If you work Large, I recommend a Rosemary series 1 number 4 Kolinsky Mop

Rosemary & Co  - 01535 600090.  One to two days in post. Very good value.

You may also need tissue paper.

Stapler - For stretching paper. Arrow JT21 (from Bunces in Worthing or other hardware stores) Use good quality Arrow 6mm Staples or cheaper Rapesco 53/6 staples.

Tack lifter for lifting staples. Self grip wrench for pulling staples.
